Eclipse actress Bryce Dallas Howard has given birth to her second child, a daughter! Congratulations to you from us all here at UK Twilight

Ron Howard is one proud grandfather!

The Dilemma director hopped on Twitter Saturday to reveal that daughter Bryce Dallas Howard had given birth to a baby girl Thursday!

So what did the 30-year-old Help star name her latest bundle of joy?

Beatrice Jean!

“Beatrice Jean Howard-Gabel Born Jan 19 2012 8lbs 6oz Bryce & Baby B are spectacular Daddy Seth & brother Theo are beaming ear to ear ,” Ron tweeted. “Beatrice’s arrival is hugely exciting for our family. Thanks for all the kind tweets folks.”

And the tiny tyke is already getting casting offers just three days after her birth (well, sort of).

“Ron, tell Bryce congratulations from our whole family. I’ll be waiting to cast Beatrice in a few years!,” M. Night Shyamalan, who directed Bryce in The Village, tweeted Sunday.

 

And Shyamalan wasn’t the only industry person chiming in about Beatrice’s birth.

Golden Globe winner Octavia Spencer sent her love as well.

“Congrats Ron from Bryce’s ‘Help’ family!,” Spencer tweeted Sunday.

This is the second child for Bryce and hubby, Seth Gabel, who are parents to 4-year-old Theodore.

Glasgow Film Festival 2012 has announced next month’s programme of premieres, special guests and unique events – with its preceding short film and youth festivals meaning that film-lovers can look forward to a packed month of attractions.

The main festival runs from 16th to 26th February in 16 venues across the city. Meanwhile the Glasgow Youth Film Festival takes place from 5th to 15th February, and the Glasgow Short Film Festival takes place over the weekend from the 9th to the 12th.

Among the many films receiving their first British screening at Glasgow are the eagerly awaited Irvine Welsh’s Ecstasy, romantic comedy The Decoy Bride co-starring David Tennant and Kelly Macdonald, acclaimed American independent drama In the Family, period drama Bel Ami starring Robert Pattinson, award-winner Cloudburst with Olympia Dukakis and Brenda Fricker, controversial documentariesBetter this World and How to Die in Oregon and animated featureWrinkles (Arrugas).

Move over Edward Cullen! Fans get a better look at Johnny Depp as a vampire as first stills from Dark Shadows are released.

He’s known for playing some odd characters and Johnny Depp doesn’t plan to stop just yet.

Photos of the 48-year-old in his latest role as vampire Barnabas Collins prove he’s still enjoying some weird and wonderful roles.

Gothic-horror tale Dark Shadows is Depp’s eighth collaboration with his close friend, director Tim Burton.

The film centres around Collins and his run-ins with various other monsters, witches and werewolves.

Depp relishes playing not so normal characters and is always more than happy to return to a set alongside Burton.

The U.S. director’s interpretation of the sixties soap opera sees Collins as a rich and powerful playboy who breaks the heart of witch Angelique Bouchard.

Played by Eva Green, Bouchard is the one who turns Collins into a vampire and also buries him alive.

However, two centuries later, Collins is freed from his tomb and emerges into the very changed world of 1972…

It originally aired weekdays on the ABC television network, from June 27, 1966 to April 2, 1971. I know. I used to rush home to watch it! Eons before Tivo.”

From playing one ancient vampire (Marcus) in The Twilight Saga to playing another in the hit TV show Trueblood. According to Deadline, Heyerdahl will have a recurring role playing an ancient vampire called Dieter Braun.

The Hillywood Show creators Hilly and Hannah Hindi have finally released the teaser for their Breaking Dawn Part 1 paordy which is set to be released Feb 2012.
