Kellan Lutz may be nearly done with Twilight – the final installment, Breaking Dawn – Part 2, hits theaters next month — but his career is far from over.
“I want to act for the rest of my life,” the 27-year-old tells DuJour magazine. “I’ll win an Oscar one day, but I’m in no rush to get there. I don’t care if that takes me 50 years, and I’m old. I just love what I do.”
Edit: Kellan posted the following on his Whosay page –
Not sure if you read my Oscar quote yesterday, but what I really meant is that I’ll probably win a Razzie in the next 50 years, or maybe a lifetime achievement Oscar for least lines spoken in movies…I love to act, but don’t need an award to feel proud of what I am doing. It’s the passion and love for what I do that makes my heart beat with life and happiness.
Nothing wrong with having the lure of the big gong as an incentive to hone your craft Kellan. Aiming for an Oscar doesn’t mean he wants awards, just that he’s serious about becomming a better actor! Nowt wrong with that!
