Dead Men is the debut feature of Kirk Sullivan, the former assistant to Joel Silver is pursuing his dream of being a director. Production began this week in Medellin, Colombia.
Producing the movie will be Brad Furman and Alejo Arango.
The movie centres on an American running from his past who is brought into a group of young underground radicals called The Dead Men, only to discover a centuries-old spiritual battle.
Joining Jackson Rathbone in the movie is Rock of Ages star Diago Boneta.

Peter Facinelli attended last nights New York premiere of Maichael Bay’s movie, Pain and Gain. The movie which stars Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson and Rebel Wilson, tells the story of a trio of bodybuilders in Florida who get caught up in an extortion ring and a kidnapping scheme that goes terribly wrong.
Pain and Gain although out next week in the US won;t be on release in the UK until August 28th in the UK!
So what has Kellan Lutz been up to recently well he’s been landing another godly role in Renny Harlin’s “Hercules 3D” and an interview with Good Morning Texas regarding another of his new movies “Java Heat”.
Kellan has already played a god in 2011s “Immortals” as Poseidon, now he’s taking up the role of Hercules.
Harlin, known for his action fare (“Die Hard 2,” “Cliffhanger” and “The Long Kiss Goodnight,” e.g.) told The Hollywood Reporter that he selected “Twilight Saga” alum Kellan Lutz for the titular role because, “It takes more than a good physique to portray the most legendary, mythological personality in history — and Kellan has exactly that, personality. He’s not afraid to explore the strengths and vulnerabilities of the character, and he impressed me with his passion and heart.”
Along with that Kellan spoke to Good Morning Texas recently about his role as Jake Travers in Conor Allyn’s Java Heat which can be viewed below.
